The Indian economy has come a long way in the last four years, says the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. He stated with references that the International Monetary Fund(IMF) and reports on India reflect the noteworthy improvements in the economic indicators such as inflation, current account deficit, fiscal deficit, power sector, infrastructure etc. Arun Jaitley talks about “The Change” in the Fastest growing global economy after NDA Government came into administration. He throws light on the structural reforms like Demonetization, Digitalization, implementation of GST, AADHAR. Anti-black money measures, the Social sector schemes like Atal Bhujal Yojna, Anti-Narcotics scheme etc. Rural development programmes like Atal Pension Yojna, Mission Antyodaya etc. Financial inclusion programmes like Mudra Yojna, Jan Dhan Yojna etc. He calls it a result of Good Governance and Good Economics combined with Good Politics.
Reasons why India has become the Fastest growing global economy
India has become the Fastest growing global economy in terms of its geographic, social as well as political base.. The fourth quarter results of GDP data indicate a phenomenal 7.7 percent growth rate. Therefore, establishing India as a Fastest growing global economy. The minister said that the Modi Government has enabled each and every Indian to be a part of this developing economy. Talking about Employment, Jaitley said that the Construction sector is expanding by double digits.
In his recent blog, the Finance Minister has compared the NDA government with the UPA Government. He called it a journey from indecisiveness to clarity and decisiveness, from being a part of “fragile five” to the “bright spot”, he criticises the UPA government. Therefore, the Finance Minister tried to give all the favorable reasons making India- Fastest growing global economy.
